This Guy Thinks We Need More Entertainment on the Subway
Summary
A passionate New Yorker wants to transform the subway into a full-blown carnival, complete with comedians, vendors, popcorn, and cotton candy. He tells Kareem he's ready for apples, marshmallows, and entertainment around the clock. When his sister calls at 2:00 in the morning worried about him taking the train, he brushes it off: "I'm among friends. I'm a New Yorker, baby." The subway isn't just transportation for him. It's a stage waiting to happen, and he's clearly enjoying every minute of it.

So what's your take? I need more entertainment on the subway. 100% agree. I want to see comedians. I, I want to see more vendors on the train. I want to see popcorn, popcorn, cotton candy. Okay, you want to turn the subway into a freaking carnival? Yeah, bring in some apples, bring in some marshmallows. Hello, baby. There we go. And I love comedy. Comedy, it needs to be put on the subway. We're doing a freaking talk show on the subway. Talk show. You don't even got to buy tickets. I think New York City needs to wake up. My sister will call me up at 2:00 in the morning going, "You're taking the train at this hour? You ready of mine?" And I'm like, "I'm among friends. I'm a New Yorker, baby. New York, New York. Beautiful."
That's thanks for the entertainment. Was that entertainment or what? It was. It was very entertaining.
